THREE BOUDOIR OUTFITS THAT YOU ALREADY OWN.
It's a common misconception that you need to know exactly what you are going to wear and exactly how you are going to pose BEFORE you book your Boudoir Session. That could not be further from the truth. At Hello Boudoir, we keep it 100% real for you. We know that you don't know what you are going to wear. Half of everyone who books a boudoir session with my luxury South Alabama team, hasn't bought lingerie in years and they most certainly don't practice laying around trying out new sexy poses while they watch Netflix.
My studio takes boudoir planning to a new level. You will not worry about one detail, because you will be prepared. Part of our planning helps our ladies to start shopping for their boudoir portrait wardrobe at home; in your own closets and chest of drawers. The truth is you have THREE great outfits that are perfect for your session right now and THREE is the magic number here. If you arrive with as little as three outfits, you WILL have an amazing boudoir portrait session. And YES, Daphne will pose you right down to your fingertips.
So what are these mystery magical three outfits? Let's Dig in.
1. Matching Bra & Panty
It sounds so cliche. Right? But it's a perfect win. Even if it's basic Black or White - it will be perfect. The classic matching bra and panty pairs great with robes and sweaters for layering. Even the "sleeping" bra and panty sets - also known as Bralettes. They are usually thin and lace covered. What could be more perfect?
Don't over think it. Pack a matching bra and panty.
2. Button up
The classic long sleeve collared button up has been a Boudoir Portrait staple for years. We love them in all colors and patterns. Solids tend to photograph better and we see more solid whites and oxford blues than any other assortment. We photograph it buttoned, and unbuttoned. We photograph it both standing, sitting and laying. It sounds so easy, but photographs so sexy. Bring your button up. Or even better, bring his. It's going to be hard for him to wear that shirt again without thinking of that time YOU wore it better.
3. Jacket
Every jacket can be amazing. Bring a Leather Jacket, a Denim Jacket, a Trench Coat, or even a Blazer. Bring it and I can promise you it will be one of the sexiest shoots you can image. Bring more than one. I've been photographing denim and leather for years, but the Blazer is really picking up steam. If you have a lady's basic blazer, bring it. You will NOT regret it.
You already have these three boudoir outfits. Anything else you bring will be icing. Let the team at Hello Boudoir help you create the Boudoir Portrait Session that you've been dreaming of. You will look amazing. You will feel Beautiful. You can be Unstoppable. Get out of your way and take the leap.
