Every session takes place in our private South Alabama Portrait Studio, or together we select a location that is the perfect fit for your budget and the overall look that supports your individual experience. You will love our studio but we also understand that some women prefer their own homes, others like hotels, bed and breakfasts or other more creative spaces. I work with you to ensure that the location supports the overall feel we want as well as your budget. If the session takes place in your home, it's a good idea to clean and clear the space from anything too distracting, like gym equipment, toys, laundry, luggage, family photos, pet beds and anything that might look odd in your photos. I prefer to use natural light on location or minimal artificial lighting so the sessions flow naturally. In studio we use soft continuous light to ensure that you will love the way you look. When booking a room, I recommend asking for rooms with lots of natural light, space and great views. We'll chat or email about the overall look, and we'll pick a location that fits your aesthetic and budget.

Every boudoir session is photographed in a women only zone. My hair stylists, makeup artists and assistants are all female. All editing, retouching and post production work is done by me. We are very understanding and respectful of privacy and want you to feel comfortable, relaxed and confident throughout the entire boudoir portrait experience.

I am fortunate to work with several incredible makeup artists & stylists. Your boudoir session is the perfect opportunity to experience the very best in professional makeup and sexy bed-head hair styling. Because this is such an intimate investment and you want to look and feel your most beautiful, professional hair and make-up is highly recommended and a fun way to pamper yourself before the shoot. If you prefer to have your hair and makeup done prior to the session, I am happy to provide a list of top make-up artists, aestheticians, salons and stylists in your area, but you can trust the certified makeup artist and stylist that are included in your boudoir portrait session. Our in house makeup stylist will be here for your entire session to allow for touch ups and the oh so important contouring to make the most of your South Alabama boudoir portrait session.

My retouching style is very natural and subtle. With retouching, I remove the distractions that take the focus away from you. Distractions can be things like flyaway hairs, seam marks on your skin from jeans or strap marks from a bra, environmental eyesores like wall outlets or marks on furniture and bedding, and of course, skin imperfections like that blemish that shows up the morning of your shoot because of course it does. After your session, we'll meet up in my office to review your images and select your products.  Every image you select or purchase is masterfully retouched for the very best results. For me, retouching isn't about filters, actions or assembly line batch effects, and I'm not here to change you into someone you're not. I retouch my work thoughtfully, and I'm passionate about creating the most stunning images that celebrate your individuality and one-of-a-kind beauty. Special requests do not upset us, so if you'd like additional retouching, just ask. It's your session and we want you to love the boudoir portraits we create for you.

Your boudoir portrait session with hair and makeup will cost $300. When booking, the flat session fee of $175 will populate and you can select to add the $125 for your hair and make up. Adding hair and makeup will greatly enhance your experience and enjoyment during your session. Not only will you have a professional stylist creating an amazing Hair and Make up look for you, she will also stay on site for your session for touch ups and contouring.  I accept cash, checks and credit cards (there is a 5% service charge).  I offer 10% off your session if you elect to participate in before/after with your boudoir images, and 10% off session fee and print/book purchases to returning boudoir clients. All session pricing is shown without tax. You can expect to pay the 10% tax required for all retail locations in Saraland, Alabama on your order.

Privacy is another very important aspect of Hello Boudoir, and I only post photos with your permission. I've worked with a variety of women where privacy is of the utmost importance, so if you want to keep your session private, no images will be made public by me. I also never posts nudity, so you can relax knowing that your private parts will be kept, well, private!

I will travel all over the US for private commissions and have my passport ready for those International inquiries. While I am located in state of Alabama, I travel frequently to nearby Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana for private commissions. Depending upon where the session is located, travel fees may apply. Feel free to email me with any travel questions you may have. 

You know what you like and you know what looks good and makes you feel sexy, which is why I ask you to bring a wide variety of wardrobe choices.  I tell every woman to bring her favorite lingerie, and at least one solid bra & panty set, but really, the sky is the limit. And don't limit yourself to just lingerie. This is a time to have fun and try something you've always wanted to wear. Favorite little dress, coziest sweater, superhero underwear, lace corset, latex jumpsuit, mardi gras headdress...I could keep going, but you get the idea.  I do suggest you bring more than you think you will need or want, and during our consultations, we can discuss wardrobe in detail. You will receive a "Must Bring" checklist long with your booked portrait session.
