Your Hair Wants to be Sexy Too.
Even your hair wants to be pampered to celebrate your Boudoir session.
Hair Tips for an Amazing Boudoir Session.
- Visit your stylist the week of your South Alabama boudoir session. Get your hair trimmed, toned and touched up. Don’t let those stray grey hairs try to be front and center on your big day. If you are coloring your hair, stick to the colors you know and love. You want to feel like yourself throughout your boudoir session, so keep that in mind when you are sitting in that salon chair. This is not the time to experiment with a whole new YOU.
- Arrive at the studio with fully dry hair. I can’t say THIS enough. It’s important because we block 90-120 minutes for your hair and makeup experience. Wet hair will limit your styling options.
- If you are using one of our stylists, (and you should) arrive at the studio with clean hair and no products in it. This will maximize your styling experience.
- If you have REALLY stubborn hair that does not hold volume or a good curl, you can wash your hair a full day before your boudoir session with a volumizing shampoo. If it’s REALLY stubborn, you might enjoy a volumizing mousse when you blow drying your hair. Do NOT use any other hair care products before arriving at the studio to avoid a greasy or flaky look.
- Don’t doubt your own personal hair style! Long hair, Medium length hair and short hair styles all photograph fantastic for a boudoir session. Our studio stylists at Hello Boudoir will create an amazing look for your session that you will love and will be gorgeous for your boudoir session at Hello Boudoir.
