Today is the Day.

One year ago TODAY I shut down my portrait studio not knowing when or if I would be able to open it again. It happened so fast. I just photographed the beautiful Mindy on Friday. I also just quit my second job and had a full calendar waiting for me. For the first time in a long time, I was really nervous. We were all really nervous. The last twelve months have been nothing but a minefield for many small businesses like mine – local women forward close contact businesses like our favorite hair salons and nail salons. So I just want to take a second and say THANK YOU to everyone who has purposefully shopped local and small over the last twelve months. It is because of you people like you and the grace of God that my studio doors are still open.

From the bottom of my heart: Thank you. Thank you. A thousand times and more I give thanks to YOU.
