I am too old for Boudoir portraits. Daphne, that’s a young girls game and my time has passed. What?!? Aren’t you getting tired of people telling you what you can and can’t do at YOUR AGE? I know I am. I’m at the age where I can do and please as I want. And I’ll tell you with 100% certainty that there is NO PERFECT AGE for boudoir portraits – the perfect time is NOW. The oldest boudoir client I’ve had (so far) turns 76 this year. I photographed her when she was 74, and not one time did she tell me, I’m too old to be here. I see more women in their 40’s and 50’s than any other decade and YES, I’m still photographing lots of women in their 20’s and 30’s too. So what does that mean for you? YOU are ready right now.
