Torrie found Hello Boudoir Studio in an effort to feel better about herself and her body. She lost her left arm in a terrible accident, was very self conscious about her loss. She wanted to feel beautiful and confident and comfortable in her own skin. Wanting to feel enough is a common theme for booking a boudoir session. When she told me her story, I knew we were the studio for her. This is Torrie's boudoir story, in her own words.

WHY DID YOU BOOK A SHOOT WITH DAPHNE AT HELLO BOUDOIR?

I wanted to regain the confidence I lost after my accident.

WAS THIS YOUR FIRST BOUDOIR SESSION?

Yes

NERVOUS? HOW NERVOUS 1-10?

WHEN DID YOU STOP BEING NERVOUS?

After meeting Daphne and after talking with her and the stylist they both just made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I lost half my left arm in 2019 so I was extremely nervous and uncomfortable. But after 5 minutes with these 2 ladies I felt beautiful.

DID YOU ENJOY THE PLANNING? WAS IT HELPFUL?

I absolutely loved the planning of my shoot. The guides were very Helpful.

I FELT SO BEAUTIFUL AGAIN. THIS SESSION GAVE ME BACK MY CONFIDENCE.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART YOUR BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE?

THE BOUDOIR SHOOT WAS MY FAVORITE. Seriously, there were so many sets and taking the pictures was so much fun.

WHY WAS THE ABOVE YOUR FAVORITE?

All the different outfit changes, different poses and hair and makeup. OMG if I could I’d do this yearly. I would do it! Heck, I'd do this every week. This was a blast. I highly recommend.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOURSELF SINCE YOUR SHOOT AT HELLO BOUDOIR? DID ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE CHANGE?

I felt so beautiful after my shoot. It gave me back my confidence. I was very self conscious since losing my arm, but after receiving my album, just wow!

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO A WOMAN THAT DOESN'T THINK SHE COULD BE AS BRAVE AS YOU? WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE THINKING ABOUT DOING A BOUDOIR SHOOT?

If I can do this with one arm and feel beautiful, then any woman can do this and feel just as beautiful if not more. I HIGHLY recommend doing this boudoir shoot. It’s well worth it.. you’ll definitely not regret it. And you’ll absolutely love this experience. I am already ready to do this again. I had so much fun. Daphne is the absolute best. She definitely makes you feel comfortable. I told her the second I walked through the door I was nervous and she made me feel so comfortable after 5 minutes. I was so hyped up after hair and makeup that I was ready for the photoshoot and not scared at all to do this. Best experience ever.

WHAT COULD WE DO BETTER? IS THERE ANY PART THAT FELL SHORT OF YOUR EXPECTATION?

I can’t complain at all or have y’all do anything different. Y’all completely made me feel at ease and so comfortable. I’ll definitely be back again. Thank you so very much for making me feel beautiful and for the best experience ever and bringing my confidence back.
